Description  Immediate need for a STAFF ENGINEER in our R&D group based in Thomson, GA to focus on the manufacturing processes and special projects at Hoover’s various national plant locations. Responsibilities will include equipment specification, layout and design, process improvement, economics, environmental compliance, and safety & health requirements. Qualified candidates will be degreed and will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience. Must be able to demonstrate a desire to be hands-on, a team player and leader, self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks. Must exhibit excellent communication skills and pc skills. A knowledge of building/construction a plus. Occasional short travel requirement.

Available Position:   PLYWALL Sound Barrier Sales Representative - Western Region Position (Posted: 01/15/2008)

Description  Candidate will promote and sell our all treated wood sound barriers throughout the Western US Region through a combination of market travel, cold calling, and taking inquiries through our 800 number, web sources, and trade show attendance. Candidate will work towards gaining approvals as needed with the appropriate transporation authorities. Candidate will work within a base + commission sales structure, and have prior experience in outside sales or as a vendor representative. Prior experience in the wood or transportation industry preferable as well.
